In January 2018, Matthew Christian (wife Quintessence) came to 20th Street as our full-time pastor. He preaches on Sunday mornings, and teaches on Wednesday evenings. Pastor Christian sets the vision for 20th Street Baptist Church. He and his wife lived in Nashville, TN for 13 years before retuning home to Kenova, WV in 2014. Ordained in Nashville (Oct 2007) by the Nashville Baptist Association and Bell Road Baptist Church, in Antioch, he has served in pastoral ministry since both Bi-vocational and full-time. He earned a Diploma of Theology in Biblical Studies from Liberty University's, Willmington School of the Bible, and is working on completing His BS in Religion at the Rawling's School of Divinity (LU). In 2001, he also earned an AS degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail Univeristy, in Winter Park, FL. His liesure activities include, woodworking, novel writing, home-steading, music and occasional PC gaming.
